CTDT are various Autohotkey scripts made by me, ak. Most of them were originally made to serve my own needs, but i put them here as other people might find them useful. [more...]

Overview : FileNanny is a simple program to organize your files into folders. Say you have some files messily hanging around in your download folder and you want to put each of them in individual folders : just let FileNanny handle this. Folders will be created according to file names and files will be moved automatically.

There are also options to detect files with identical names (extension excepted) or move folders to a designated "archive" folder etc.

How it works : Unzip FileNanny.zip to any folder and run FileNanny.exe to open the configuration window. You can then add a context-menu and/or "Send to" entry for FileNanny, and access other Options.

Then, to use FileNanny, just right-click one or multiple files and launch FileNanny via the context menu or the "Send To" menu.

Overview : SubDude helps you renaming your subtitle files so they match video files in the same folder.

Let's say you have the third season of The Sopranos in a folder, with video and subtitle files named like this :

The.Sopranos.s03e01.avi -> The-Sopranos2x1.srt
The.Sopranos.s03e02.avi -> The-Sopranos2x2.srt
etc

Let Subdude handle this folder and you'll get :

The.Sopranos.s03e01.avi -> The.Sopranos.s03e01.srt
The.Sopranos.s03e02.avi -> The.Sopranos.s03e02.srt
etc

This way, most video playing software will auto-detect the presence of the subtitle file and you will never have to get up to load the subtitles when the episode changes.

Just think about the good hours of procrastination this program will offer you !

How it works : Unzip subdude.zip to any folder and run subdude.exe. You can then choose the folder you want to SubDude. However, the most convenient way to use SubDude is to add a context-menu entry in the "Config" tab and then right-click the folders you want to operate on.

Important notes :
- SubDude assumes that every files in the folder are from the same show and checks season and episode numbers only.
- Subdude uses regular expressions to detect season and episode numbers. Most common patterns (TVShow-s04e01, TVShow-4x1 etc) are handled, however Subdude will eventually fail to detect season and episode numbers on certain files (TVShow401 etc). This problem is being worked on.

Overview : DaddyClick was my first Autohotkey project. In "Open/Save" dialogs and Windows Explorer, it allows you to go to the parent folder by double-clicking the empty space in the file/folder list. It will also automatically select the folder you came from after you went to its parent folder (although this particular function might not work very well sometimes).

How it works : Just put Daddyclick.exe anywhere and launch it. It will sit there quietly and you can shut him down anytime via the system tray. You might want to add a shortcut to Daddyclick.exe in your startup folder.
